Wild Heart Therapy
Welcome! You have taken the first brave step towards healing, clarity, and authentic living. You are browsing therapist websites and found this page (perhaps through Google, your doctor, family member or friend). This is a big deal and I hope you take a moment to recognize this first step. You’ve acknowledged that additional support might be helpful and are contemplating whether or not this is the right time to get started. The interesting thing is that you have already started.
You are reading this page and trying to find a good fit therapist. Maybe you’re slightly nervous that therapy might be a little awkward and that opening up to a stranger will feel weird and uncomfortable. I’m here to tell you that sometimes it is awkward, weird, and uncomfortable— isn’t life in general? However, therapy can also feel safe, nonjudgemental, supportive, compassionate, challenging, healing, vulnerable, connecting, humorous, and playful. If you’re feeling motivated and ready to participate in the therapy process, it’ll be my honor to hear the story of you and create space for you to reconnect with your most authentic, free, and wild heart.
You may be wondering—what’s a wild heart? Here, a wild heart is the product of uncovering who you’ve always been before the world told you who to be and living in line with this more often than not. It’s an understanding and acceptance of all the parts and values that make you who you are. All parts of you are welcome at Wild Heart Therapy. You can show up as you are and expect to be met with empathy, kindness, and respect.
“The mark of a wild heart is living out the paradox of love in our lives. It’s the ability to be tough and tender, excited and scared, brave and afraid— all in the same moment. It’s showing up in our vulnerability and our courage, being both fierce and kind”
— Brené Brown, Braving The Wilderness
